You can hide an element from the table of contents. This means that while the element will still be available in the report itself, it will no longer be mentioned in the left-hand pane. This way you can simplify and personalize the table of contents so that it only mentions, for example, the titles of each report section, or only the most important charts.
- Go to your survey and edit the report in which you want to remove an element from the table of contents.
- Select the element.
- Click the Style tab.
- Locate the setting In table of contents and select Hidden.
Now the element will no longer be mentioned in the table of contents in the Viewer. In the Editor the element title will be in a lighter grey so that you can still easily locate it when you wish to make adjustments to it.
Note: Please note that hiding an element from the table of contents is not the same as removing it entirely from the Viewer. In order to hide an element from the Viewer, follow the steps in this article: Hide an element from the Viewer.
